The United States government has taken something that is horrible, old age, and made it worse. It isn't that difficult to find out about Medicare, but there's sort of this weird perception that it's all free, that once you get to be 65 all your medical costs are behind you. That is absolutely wrong. My healthcare options are worse than they've ever been in my life, from the perspective of cost. It's going to cost me more, and there could be multiple payers involved, which all makes it more of a nightmare. Now, not only are you sick and feeling miserable but you have to deal with a bunch of different people paying the doctor, and you're still going to have to pay some money, maybe a lot. It seems like a loving God would have designed covid to kill all of us that are over 65. There would have been no question about it no vaccine, no cure, no mask, just silent happy death in your sleep. But anyone who even takes a passing look at history would see that that hasn't been the case yet, but God does different things during different time periods, and with God all things are possible.

 My Solution:

• Doctors can not be sued. They can be barred from the profession if incompetent.
• At 65 all healthcare is free, unless you use it too much. 
• At 65 you are no longer allowed to purchase healthcare insurance.
  
• If you are going to doctors often, the out of pocket costs are very high.
  
• People that cost too much are eventually given more pain killers.
  
• Patient goes to doctor for quick diagnosis.
• Doctor may schedule minimal tests, or make a decision for action based on diagnosis.
• Some people will die. Eventually all do.
• Most people continue praying to die in their sleep. Some do.
• This keeps costs down and the doctor sees people quickly.

Some more thoughts:

Stop doing bypass and heart surgery. Get people exercising some and on pain killers. No blood thinners. Use alcohol.

 Stop kidney dialysis and other expensive solutions. Go over the death process or long term implications if person lives with significant organ impairment.

 At age 65 stop trying to keep people alive. We all die. If they(we) seem afraid recommend spiritual counseling.

 Doctors and "the system" are not God. God is God.
